We deal with complex transportation phenomena for a safe, comfortable and sustainable society. Emphasis is laid on the efficient use of existing transportation infrastructure addressing user needs adequately. Our research field range from highway planning and geometric design to traffic management, as well as fundamental driver behavior analysis and theoretical modeling with practical applications.
